    It was pretty articulate too, and certainly not that sexist because it talked about being a DECENT HUMAN BEING…not just being some house slave. The only thing I could disagree with on that site is the article from 1955 when it said that “his issues/problems are more important than yours (those of the wife)”. I don’t agree 100% with this because importance is relative and the spouses problems are ultimately both of their problems, but psychologically, when a man has been dealing with shit all day at work, it doesn’t help to have his wife put even more shit on him as soon as he gets home. The home should be a place where the entire family feels stable and relatively free of stress, because God knows the world produces enough stress on its own.

    Personally, I have always been apalled at the divorce rate. This helps put it into some perspective…although, there ARE a LOT asshole men out there…but these aren’t the men who would make good HUSBANDS. I think this web page/book/article is targeted to guys who would normally make GOOD husbands if the women in their lives would be good wives…not just every guy with a cock’n'balls, so I think that reason alone gives the whole thing more credibility.

    Thank you SO much Ryan. This was a real eye opener.

    I suppose I should refine my statement. I was refering to the type of girl described in the link, as a stereotype. They are generally referred to as “American Women.” I am NOT stereotyping, and saying that ALL women living in USA are like this, nor am I saying that the women I were describing lived in USA. This kind of woman can exist in any place in the world.
